Steve Jobs going on a stamp.

The Apple cofounder’s stamp is already in design development for 2015, alongside stamps for music legends Elvis Presley and James Brown.

Steve Jobs approved for a 2015 U.S. postage stamp
Eric Blattberg

I need the video where the British gentleman explains to us how the entire print run of stamps was laser cut from a single piece of brushed aluminium.

Shaking Hands and Potted Plants

An Emotional Jay Leno Bids Goodbye to ‘Tonight’
Alessandra Stanley
The New York Times
These are the details that come to my mind the most when I think of Jay Leno, and part why I preferred Letterman since at least high school. Letterman's distance from his audience and his theater's shiny polished floor always felt more real to me than Leno's shaking hands chumminess and living room set.

R.I.P. Philip Seymour Hoffman

Two of my favorite lines performed by Philip Seymour Hoffman:
"Ha-ha-ha-ha! Wonderful woman. Very free-spirited. We're all very fond of her."
"The only true currency in this bankrupt world is what we share with someone else when we're uncool."
It's terribly sad to see someone go before they've had the chance to build a tremendous body of great work. More so when they've already built a tremendous body of great work, and we're not going to see the rest of the great stuff they would have inevitably made.
